Bahrain Kerala Association Holds Condolence Meeting to Honor Late Former Prime Minister Oommen Chandy
Manama: In a solemn tribute to the late former Prime Minister and esteemed Congress leader Oommen Chandy, the Bahrain Kerala Samaj organized a condolence meeting. The Diamond Jubilee Hall of the Samaj served as the venue, where President PV Radhakrishna Pillai presented a heartfelt condolence resolution. Pillai took a moment to reflect on Chandy’s remarkable political career, spanning half a century, during which he consistently dedicated himself to serving the people as their representative.
The meeting witnessed the presence of several notable individuals, including General Secretary of Samajam Varghese Karakal, KM Cherian, Binu Kunnanthanam, Pradeep Patheri, as well as representatives from various organizations in Bahrain. Prominent figures such as Dr. PV Cherian, Soman Baby, NK Mathew, Nisar Kollam, Sovichan Chennatussery, and Anish Gowri also shared their thoughts and condolences during the gathering. Manama: A condolence meeting was held at the Bahrain Kerala Samaj on the demise of former prime minister and senior Congress leader Oommen Chandy. President PV Radhakrishna Pillai presented the condolence resolution in the meeting held at Diamond Jubilee Hall of Samaj. He remembered that Oommen Chandy had an unparalleled political career who lived for the people among the people as a representative of the people for half a century.
General Secretary of Samajam Varghese Karakal, KM Cherian, Binu Kunnanthanam, Pradeep Patheri, representatives of various organizations in Bahrain, Dr. PV Cherian, Soman Baby, NK Mathew, Nisar Kollam, Sovichan Chennatussery, Anish Gowri etc spoke in the meeting and many people including Samajam members and representatives of other organizations were present.
